Feeding

Eating is a way of life.

For most of us, eating is a pleasant experience. However, eating can be a stressful time for some families. Research has shown that up to 25% of the pediatric population exhibits moderate to severe food refusal and that number jumps to 80% in children with developmental delays.

Feeding therapy can help make the process of eating easier and more enjoyable. The earlier a child is in therapy to address these problems, the better their growth, nutrition, and future eating outcomes will be. If you are concerned about your child’s food selectivity, food and texture refusal, or reduced food or liquid intake, please contact us to schedule a feeding evaluation.
