Beyond Words Therapy Clinic, PLLC, is a pediatric speech and language therapy clinic serving Milan, Medina, and the surrounding communities. We provide individualized therapy services to children 0 to 18 years of age utilizing a child-led, play-based therapy method. We honor all forms of communication, whether it is verbal, nonverbal, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), gestures, pictures, and more, while recognizing that communication extends BEYOND WORDS. Our mission is to help children become confident and effective communicators!

Kimberli Moore
With 28 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist, Kimberli is passionate about helping individuals with communication and swallowing disorders achieve meaningful, functional goals. She is dedicated to creating a supportive, welcoming environment where patients and families feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapy journey.
Kimberli earned her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Murray State University and has served in a variety of clinical and leadership roles throughout West Tennessee. Her experience includes working as speech therapy director at Therapy & Learning Center (formerly Cerebral Palsy Association), serving as a rehabilitation director in West Tennessee nursing homes, and leading the West Tennessee Hearing and Speech Center as executive director from 2009 through March 2024. Throughout her career, her focus has remained the same: providing compassionate, individualized care while advocating for those she serves.
Kimberli especially values partnering with families and caregivers to provide education, encouragement, and practical strategies that support success beyond the therapy room. She believes every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect and strives to create a safe space where patients feel confident working toward their goals.
Outside the clinic, Kimberli enjoys caring for rescue animals, raising chickens, and tackling DIY projects in her 1906 home. She and her husband of 36 years have two adult children, and she describes her perfect morning as enjoying coffee with him on the front porch.
Eddie Moore
With a diverse professional background and a passion for helping others, Eddie Moore brings both experience and heart to his role as Director of Operations at Beyond Words Therapy Clinic. His dynamic career path includes 14 years with Toys “R” Us, where he advanced from employee to management, as well as experience as a project manager for a protein distribution company, an office supply salesman, and a small engine repairman.
Eddie’s favorite part of working at Beyond Words Therapy Clinic is the opportunity to connect personally with families as they navigate communication and swallowing disorders. He is committed to ensuring insurance payments are accurate and that every family feels comfortable discussing their accounts and payment options. His approachable nature and dedication to service help create a supportive experience for the families the clinic serves.
Outside of work, Eddie is an avid collector with interests ranging from razors and comic books to Toys “R” Us memorabilia. Above all, he enjoys spending quality time at home with his family.
